In March, my two oldest sons and I took a trip to the Oregon Coast. We flew into Portland (with some of the most impressive turbulence I’ve ever experienced) and then took a rental car south to Mom’s house on the coast. For most of the week we spent in Oregon, the weather was beautiful–sunny and plenty warm for the season.
We took a couple days to drive as far south as Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor and as far north as Fort Stevens State Park, taking time to hop out of the car and do some exploring along the way. We spent our final night in Oregon at Cannon Beach, where the cloud cover prevented the colorful sunset we were hoping for.
We wrapped up the trip with a brief trip to Multnomah Falls, just east of Portland. The images, below, are a few of my favorites.
