My sons and I enjoy traveling to the Oregon Coast every year to spend time with my mom and to play. It’s a magical place.
Once I got a full-frame camera, I was interested in getting some photos of fireworks. We happened to be in Oregon on the 4th of July in 2023 and it was convenient for us to walk down to a nearby lake where the fireworks show would take place that night.
These images represent my first attempt at capturing fireworks with the Canon R6 Mark II and a 24-105 mm lens. Here’s to preserving American independence!
